FESTIVAL GENERAL ADMISSION INFO

  • GATES OPEN – 9am – 4pm Saturday & Sunday – with full festival activities both days. Note, the talks, workshops and demos programs are different on both days so if you’re excited to see and do everything we highly recommend a WEEKEND PASS – just $33.
  • LOCATION – Centennial Park, McGregor St, Eldorado VIC
  • PARKING – Plenty of space for all visitors onsite, please be patient as the CFA will be volunteering their time for free to assist – be sure to have a gold coin donation ready.
  • KIDS under 14 are welcome for FREE when register with an adult ticket. And there’s PLENTY of fun activities for them to enjoy.
  • SORRY NO DOGS PERMITTED into festival grounds, however if you’re only coming for a short visit there are many shade trees that you can make use of in the surrounding parking areas around the oval and we’ll have some dog bowls for water near the front gate. We’re also talking with our volunteers about offer a dog walking service with a small donation fee that will go towards Wild Animal Bush Fire Relief efforts. To run a Covid Safe Event we must keep record of everyone that attends the festival so tickets must be purchased online this year. The early you can book them in the easier it will be for us to plan ahead to make the weekend amazing for you all, so please book soon.

WHAT IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID LOCKDOWN?

This event is all set to go ahead in April. If however there is another lockdown close to the dates the event will be cancelled and all ticket holders will be offered a full refund. So please feel secure booking your tickets now. Also if you are sick at the time of the event we ask that you do not attend and please send an email to request your refund before the start time of the event.

🟢 COVID UPDATE – TICKET PRICES 🟢With the latest Covid-Safe Events information being released by the Government we are beginning to realise that as event organisers this year will be much harder and more expensive – but still very POSSIBLE. We’ll definitely be going ahead with the 2021 Off-Grid Living Festival, however there will be many costs incurred to meet all of the new regulations. We’re determined to make it work. So to ensure that we can sustain these costs while securing the future of the festival, ticket prices will increase by 10% from 1st January 2021 – Prices $22 day pass and $33 weekend pass.

COVID SAFE EVENT
This is a COVID SAFE event, all guidelines by the State Government will be adhered to. As a participant we ask that you please do the following to assist: 

  • Buy your tickets online to avoid crowding at gate and to help with record keeping. 
  • Give correct and full information on your ticket booking so we can contact trace everyone is there is any reports of COVID at the event. 
  • Do not come to the event is you are unwell on the dates. Stay at home and send an email requesting a refund for your ticket. 
  • If you suddenly feel unwell at the event, please make your way to the first-aid area and provide information to staff. 
  • We recommend that you download the Commonwealth Government COVIDSafe app prior to attending the event
  • Maintain physical distancing within the event.
  • Practice good hygiene. Eg. Wash hands when necessary – upon entering the event and after toilet use or eating. 

Do not attend the event if:
You have been in close contact with a person who is diagnosed coronavirus (COVID-19) positive
You are positive for coronavirus (COVID-19)
You have travelled overseas in the previous 14 days
Event organisers have the right to refuse entry and may insist that anyone with coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms needs to leave the event and obtain coronavirus (COVID-19) testing as per health guidelines

Further guidelines will be sent to all ticket holders via email 1 week prior to the event, as the rules will be easing/changing as we move into 2021. 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITION – OFF-GRID LIVING FESTIVAL 2021

Before purchasing tickets, please read all the Terms and Conditions, including special Covid-19 Special terms and conditions. 
This ticket is sold by Off-Grid Living Festival Victoria (ABN 78 713 578 051). The following conditions are of sale, entry and attendance at the Event.

‘You’ and ‘your’ refers to the customer. ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, ‘Festival’ and ‘Event organiser’ refers to Creative Collectives Australia, its directors, employees, contractors, volunteers and authorised persons. ‘This agreement’ means these terms and conditions and any other conditions specified by us on our website and booking forms.

TICKETING
1.    Tickets are sold subject to the Festival conditions of sale and to the terms and conditions of entry to the Festival venue.
2.    All ticket prices include GST.
3.    Once purchased, barcoded tickets will be emailed to the purchasers including full booking party and are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Due to Covid Safe Regulations tickets may not be passed on to a third party attendee if the original purchaser cannot use them. 
4.    All sales are final.  Refunds will not be issued if you decide not to attend the festival. Refunds will be issued if the Event is cancelled, or you are adhering to the Covid-19 stay at home requirements (see special conditions below). 
5.    This is an all-weather event. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
6.    The BARCODED TICKET is required for entry to the Event.  Print the barcoded ticket, or carry the barcoded ticket in your smartphone, and bring to the Event. Entry will not be permitted with out proof of pre-booking. 
7.    ACCOMPANIED YOUTH TICKETS: For duty of care reasons, and to be in keeping with the family-based nature of the Event, “Kids” tickets can only be purchased in conjunction with an adult ticket or by an adult who has already purchased a ticket. Children must be with, and are the sole responsibility of their parent/guardian or responsible adult at all times during the festival. 
8.    Tickets are sold on the express condition that ticket holders are bound by the rules and regulations issued by the Event organiser, the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Victoria and the rules and regulations enacted there-under.
9.    The event is drug and alcohol free, no drugs or alcohol will be allowed onsite. If you are thought to have, or have consumed drugs and alcohol during the event you may be asked to leave the premises by event staff with no refund issued. 
10.    Ticket holders agree to comply with all Festival security and safety officer arrangements, as well as those of the venue provider, including personal searches (if deemed necessary by Festival). All ALCOHOL, ILLEGAL DRUGS, WEAPONS, or DANGEROUS ITEMS are prohibited and will be confiscated. No claim may be made against Festival or the venue provider for items confiscated. Persons found in possession of illegal drugs, weapons or dangerous items will be removed from the venue and no re-entry shall be permitted. 
11.    If you display any violent or aggressive behaviour towards a third party within the festival you may be asked to leave the venue and no refund shall be issues. 
12.    If there is dispute or refusal in regards to any of the points above, the police may be contacted to assist.  
13.    Entry is at your own risk and we reserve the right to refuse entry. We shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damages sustained entering or on within the Event – to the extent allowed by the law.
14.    All ticket holders consent to any official photography, filming and sound recording to be used for future marketing or media via print, television or internet.

LIABILITY
15.    We disclaim any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third party including the products, services, actions or failure to act of the Event venue or other person in connection with the Event or the Festival or otherwise referred to on the website.
16.    Entry is at the ticket holders own risk. Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times while attending the Event. We shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or at the Event to your person or possessions (including parked cars) – to the extent allowed by the law.

COVID SAFE EVENT – SPECIAL TERMS


The Off-Grid Living Festival has adopted some special Terms and Conditions due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. These special terms are generated to align with the Victorian Governments Covid-Safe Event Planning guidelines that help to ensure events are COVID safe for all workers and audiences and mitigate risks of community transmission to the general public.

These special terms are set out below and operate to supplement the general Terms and Conditions. If there is any inconsistency between the special terms and the other Terms and Conditions, the special terms apply to the extent of the inconsistency. 

A. Off-Grid Living Festival tickets must be purchased online in 2021 and the information your provide on your booking must be true and current to assist with any contact tracing if necessary. If the Victorian Government requests access to our booking list this will be issued to them for Covid-19 contact tracing purposes only. 

B. The Off-Grid Living Festival supports the Federal Government’s recommendation regarding the use of the COVID safe App. We encourage you and your booking party to download and use the App when attending our venues.

C. In accordance with health guidelines, stall holders, exhibitors and workshop hosts at the Off-Grid Living Festival will be given the option to request payment transactions to be completed using contactless payment only. Cash payments may not be accepted for some transactions. An ATM will be available for use onsite and cash payments may be required if digital payments are not possible due to country internet services. 

D. Please contact us immediately if you a) need to cancel your tickets and get a refund because you have symptoms. b) acquire symptoms within 14 days after the festival c) test positive for Covid-19 
When you must stay at home and cancel your booking: 
You must stay at home and must not attend the Venue or the event if you:

  • are required to self-isolate or quarantine (and the event falls within the isolation/quarantine period) due to:
  • being a confirmed case of COVID-19; or
  • having close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19; or
  • living in or having been in a high risk area within Australia; or
  • having returned from overseas.
  • have COVID-19 symptoms, have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results (and the event falls within the period of awaiting test results). The symptoms of COVID-19 include: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell.

You must communicate these requirements to members of your booking party which apply to them as well.
Ticket Exchange or Refund in relation to COVID-19.

E. We are offering additional flexibility through our refund policy at this time, having regard to the uncertainties posed by COVID-19 and to encourage you and the members of your booking party to comply with the stay at home requirements.

F. You will be entitled to a refund or exchange if you or a member of your booking party falls into any of these categories:

  • You or they are required to self-isolate or quarantine (and the event falls within the isolation/quarantine period) due to:
  • being a confirmed case of COVID-19; or
  • having close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19; or
  • living in or having been in a high risk area within Australia; or
  • having returned from overseas.
  • You or they have COVID-19 symptoms, have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results (and the event falls within the period of awaiting test results). The symptoms of COVID-19 include: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell.

You must contact us as soon as possible if you or a member of your booking party falls into any of these categories.
COVID-19 safety when you attend our Venues and events

G. When you attend our event, you and each member of your booking party must comply with any COVID-19 safety protocols or requirements notified to you by the Off-Grid Living Festival (including by way of signage at the Venue or by way of line markings on the floor). This includes complying with:
    a. Hand hygiene requirements and the requirement to wear a face mask;
    b. Physical distancing requirements (including physical spacing requirements while queuing);
    c. Person limits for particular spaces and areas; or
    d. Person density requirements.
You acknowledge that anyone not adhering to these requirements may be in breach of directions issued by the Chief Health Officer for which penalties may apply.

The most up to date COVID-19 Safety protocols can be found on our website – please check these on the day before arriving at the venue.

H. You acknowledge that the Off-Grid Living Festival may be required to collect contact tracing information from you and each member of your booking party when you and they attend the Venue. This includes (at least) the first name and phone number of each person who attends the Venue including children. You must communicate this requirement to each member of your booking party before they attend the Venue.

I. You agree to provide us with any information we are required to collect for contact tracing purposes. The purpose of collecting this information is to assist any contact tracing in the event of an outbreak or potential exposure to someone with COVID-19 at the Venue. You acknowledge that we may disclose contact tracing information to health authorities or as otherwise required or authorised by law. You acknowledge that we may retain the information for 28 days (or such longer period as required by law), after which time it will be deleted or destroyed. While we hold the information, we will take all reasonable steps to keep your contact tracing information secure and free from unauthorised access or use.

J. You and your booking party may be refused entry or required to leave the Venue or event if you or they:
    a. refuse to comply with any COVID-19 safety protocols or requirements notified to you by the Off-Grid Living Festival;
    b. refuse to comply with any reasonable health and safety directions given by Venue staff;
    c. refuse to provide contact tracing information to the Off-Grid Living Festival on request;
    d. are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, as notified to or as assessed by Venue staff. These include: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell;
    e. have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results; or
    f. are required to be in self-isolation/quarantine due to:

  • being a confirmed case of COVID-19; or
  • having close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19; or
  • living in or having been in a high risk area within Australia; or
  • having returned from overseas.

In these circumstances, Tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law).

K. We ask that you and each member of your booking party make a reasonable assessment of your health status before attending our Venue or the event. To avoid doubt, unless required by law you will not be entitled to a refund if you or a member of your booking party attends our Venue or event despite you exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and if you or they are then refused entry or asked to leave the Venue or event.

L. You must notify the Off-Grid Living Festival immediately if you or any member of your booking party develop any symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days of attending a Venue.
