In this hands-on workshop you will take home 2 of your own jars of vegetables to ferment. Learn about fermented delicacies such as kimchi, sauerkraut, lacto-fermented pickles, fermented pesto, hot sauce, and many others. Once you get started you will learn how many amazing foods can be made with just vegetables, salt, a little know-how, and your imagination!
You will learn about probiotics and prebiotics, and why they are important to your health.
Try a variety of samples before you embark on your own fermenting venture, making and taking home your own kraut, and a jar of brined vegetables. You will be confident to undertake the fermenting process – and totally hooked on the amazing flavours fermenting can unleash.
All materials will be supplied, and you take home your own jar full of fermenting goodness, a booklet with fermenting basics & recipe ideas, and a zest for fermenting!
